What is pension interest?

If you are a member of a pension or provident fund, it is defined in the Divorce Act as the benefits to which you would have been entitled to in terms of the rules of the fund if your membership had been terminated on the date of divorce as a result of your resignation. Simply put, it is your member’s withdrawal benefit as at the date of divorce.
